Vi Bell is a visual artist based in rural Ireland. A graduate of the Limerick School of Art and Design, she brings a thoughtful and immersive approach to materials, exploring their tactile and visual qualities as well as their emotional resonance.
Expanding beyond her studio-based practice, she is exploring community-engaged art, finding a deep sense of purpose in collaborative and socially driven projects.

Recent projects:
June 2026 – August 2026 | Saint Paul’s Playground Mural Project, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Collaborative mural painting with local artists to transform the playground walls into a more engaging, child-friendly space. Role: Collaborator
October 2025 - January 2026 | Through Our Eyes — Child and Youth Participation Art Project commissioned by Tusla. Created in collaboration with children, attending Foróige youth work organization. Role: Artist Facilitator
December 2024 - March 2025 | Arts & Health Awareness Day + Creativity Sessions with Nenagh Hospital patients, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. Role: Artist Facilitator
A two-stage project involving creative work with hospital staff, visitors (including children); patients (including patients with dementia and amputation), as well as providing key insights that will inform a report on future art programming for the hospital. The project was supported by the Arts Council, the HSE Midwest Healthy Ireland, Creative Ireland Tipperary in association with Réalta, and Tipperary County Council Arts Office.
May 2024 - Jan 2025 | "Handled with Care" — an initiative designed to transform the cafeteria of the University Maternity Hospital in Limerick into a vibrant and engaging space through a community-driven art installation. Role: collaborator

Sept 2020 - June 2021 |Parklife Project, Phase 1 of 39th EVA International Biennial of Contemporary Art - collaborative art & research project with LSAD students (The Soil Team) responding to the ecology of People's Park. Output: a hand-folded, multi-panel leaflet publication (no gallery presentation).
